Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using QM Screener (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of the Service
QM Screener is a daily momentum stock screening service that runs six published trend and momentum strategies across the US equity universe and surfaces tickers that pass each strategy's filters. Screens are refreshed each US trading day.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and current.
4. Account and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us at support@qmscreener.com immediately if you suspect unauthorised access. Each account is for one person — do not share your credentials.
5. Subscription, Billing, and Renewal
QM Screener offers monthly ($5/month) and annual ($42/year) subscription plans, billed via Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date. Prices may change with at least 14 days' advance notice to the email address on your account.
6. Refund Policy
QM Screener offers a 7-day free trial on all subscription plans. Your card is captured at signup but is not charged until the trial ends. You may cancel at any time during the trial to avoid being charged.
After the 7-day free trial, all subscription charges are non-refundable for any reason, including but not limited to: unused time on a subscription, missed cancellation deadlines, changes in personal circumstances, dissatisfaction with the Service, or accidental renewal.
You can prevent future charges at any time by cancelling your subscription, in which case access continues until the end of the current billing period and no further charges are made.
By starting a paid subscription, you acknowledge and accept this no-refund policy.
7. Cancellation
Cancel anytime from the Tools menu in the dashboard via "Manage billing", which opens the Stripe Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; your access continues until then.
8. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- scrape, copy, or systematically harvest results from the Service;
- resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service;
- reverse-engineer or attempt to derive the source of any part of the Service;
- use automated tools to abuse, overload, or disrupt the Service;
- share your account credentials with any other person.
9. Not Financial Advice
QM Screener provides a screening tool. It is not financial advice, not investment advice, and not a trading signal service. It does not consider your financial situation, risk tolerance, or objectives. Trading involves risk including loss of principal. Any decisions you make based on the Service's output are your sole responsibility.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service and its content — including code, design, copy, and screening methodology implementations — are owned by QM Screener. While your subscription is active, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial research purposes.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, accuracy or completeness of data, or fitness for any particular purpose.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QM Screener's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. QM Screener is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold QM Screener harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account for any breach of these Terms, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time by cancelling your subscription.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising under or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be heard exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
